Has anyone ever seen this before. I can create a Custom Recipient on exchange 5.5 (user@domain1.net)
Here is the weird part, when ever I send an e-mail attachment from my regular exchange account to the custom recipient the attachment gets stripped out. The e-mail message is delivered to usr@domain1.net without the attachments. Not sure why its doing this ??? I was able to narrow the problem down to the exchange custom Recipient because when I delete the custom recipient, my attachments go right through.

How strange is that ?

Has anyone seen this before,

-Danny

In case anyone is interested I figured it out.

I had to change the IMS outbound attachment type to uuencode instead of MIME. It has something to do with POP3 not supporting rich text format.

Drop me a line I would be happy to explain it in greater detail. -Danny
