Hi all...

i want to create a custom dialer for an ISP.. i want the user to download it from my website and for it to have my logo, access numbers and support information....

i saw many ISP's doing this and their connections are added in the windows connection manager and dialup connections...

how is this done ??

Thank You,
The HMS

You need the CMAK (Connection Manager Administration Kit). I think this was shipped with the IE5 AK (Admin Kit) but was removed from later versions (i.e. 5.5 and 6.0). Windows 2000 includes the CMAK but has to be installed as part of a custom install (go to control panel, add/remove programs, add/remove windows components, management & monitoring tools, connection manager componets).

Try to remember (your choice actually) not to include any "scratch ticket program", adware, and such with yours. This is becoming a habit with ISP's custom dialers. Keep in mind that it is just as easy to set up a connection to an ISP in Network Connections for a personal user. Remembering that, now go make YOURS "Special" ![bigcheeks]

Right now, you occupy a point where three lines reach across the expanse of time and space and intersect only there, and that you and only you possess.

It's in the Internet Explorer Administration Kit.
