I have been trying to perform a customized deployment of VSE7.1 via EPO, with minimal success. First off, I extracted the install (msi file) files from the F.E.A.D. Optimizer that 7.1 uses. However, when I try a custom install, I'm not sure how to set it up within the "DEPLOY - Edit Command Line options - Web page dialog" box in EPO. If I use the line
setup.exe /INSTALLDIR=C:\VSE7.1 /i
the setup never kicks in.
Am I doing something wrong here? We don't like installing into Program Files folder. Personally, I don't like using Mcafee installation designer either, I prefer to use the "pure" MSI files and/or transforms.
