cursor blink in office 2000

I have installed office 2000 (full installation) in several windows 2000 Professional and when i open word 2000, cursor blink between normal icon and sand clock icon.
This happen with only certain users
somebody can tell me a solution???

Arubioe:
There may be a problem with the normal.dot file of those users. Try deleting it, it will recreate itself when you open Word again.
