Just curious, when I do a "show conduit" on my PIX520, what does (hitcnt=973) mean ? For example:

conduit permit tcp host xx.xx.xxx.xxx eq (hitcnt=973)

might it be "hit count" ? How many times that site has been hit via port 80 ? just a guess

Thanks

The official explanation: The hit count tells you how many times that particular rule has been applied to traffic passing through the firewall.

what you ment was how many times it has been applied since it was last rebooted.
