Printing between OS X and XP Home
I am trying to give my 3 OS X macs access to printers hanging off my XP Home PC , one printer is on LPT1 and the other off USB , all machines have static IP’s but cant seem to share these printers out,
What is the best option CUPS or SAMBA ? I am trying to use CUPS but cant find the print drivers I have a Brother HL-1070 and a HP Officejet d145 , in CUPS I am using the option smb and then putting the ip address on the XP pc and the share name of the printer, any idea why it does not work ?
