Can you provide the path/location to provide a list of all phones in my CUCM that are unregistered? I have found Cisco Unified Reporting but everything in here seems to be information only (I can't seem to find anything in here about unregistered phones). I want to get a report of every extension with location that is unregistered.

Cisco website says to go to Select Reports > Audio IP Phones > Inventory > Inventory Analysis. I can't find Select Reports or Audio IP Phones.

The only time that I have done this, I had to have an SQL query run. I don't have access to that DB so, I can't help you with HOW TO but, I think that is the road you might want to head down. Good Luck!

no matter where you go, there you are.
"This participation is personal and does not represent the United States Census Bureau." They make me say this.

Using the Real Time Monitoring Tool, you can find unregistered Phones. It is on the Call Manager TAB. Look under Device and go to Device Search. Choose Phones and select the radio button for Unregistered. You will get the first 200 devices within your server or cluster.

I hope that this works for you. If you don't have the RTMT loaded. Go to Applications > Plugin > and download it from your CUCM.

Rachelle, you are heading me into the right direction. I pulled up the report with the RTMT, but (why is there always a but?) the report seems to give me data that happened in the past (like a phone unregistered in the last three days, but when I look at it in the CUCM it is now registered). I would like to find current info of phones that are currently unregistered and also (the big one) phones that are now in a UNKNOWN state. Unknown seems to be the biggest majority, but there does not seem to be an option to select Unknown.

I think that I actually worded the initial question wrong since the Unknown phones are the biggest problems. I figured out that the difference between Unregistered and Unknown is that the DHCP lease time has expired.

I wish it was as simple as clicking the top of the Status column in CUCM to sort, but it seems that Cisco didn't think that we would need that feature.

Thanks for you help,

Mitch
