Hi-
I know Ctrl Alt Delete on the welcome screen isn't susposed to work on XP home, but if nobody is logged on and you hit Ctrl Alt Delete twice, it works!!!!!

It has always worked for me and if you read any info on XP home it tells you, you have the option of using the graphical login or the classic login, ctrl-alt +del twice. You can even change the background on the classic login page. Mine is me holding a prize Largemouth Bass I caught and released this summer. then you have the option of changing the screen to automatically show the classic page w/o hitting C-A+Del twice.
