Hi!

It it possible to run, at the same time, Session Manager and NRS for SIP endpoints?

Reason for the question is that we would like to run the old SIP applications (not tested against Session Manager) with NRS and the new SIP applications (testet agains Session Manager) with Session Manager.

It might be possible.

When cutting over an enterprise with multiple endpoints, Both Session Manager and NRS are active at the same time, allowing a gradual cutover of the different locations while preserving SIP connectivity.

This can work when all of your endpoints are configured as Static (rather than Dynamic), so the Session Manager and NRS can talk to each site regardless of the platform any given site is registered to.

In the NTP's this is referred to as SIP Dual-Plane signaling.

It probably depends on if you can achieve SIP connectivity between the Session Manager and your Applications.
