Hello everyone, this is my first post to the forums so thanks in advance for any helpful information. We are running a Nortel/Avaya CS1000M system running release 7.5. I've been brought in from the network side to start helping administer this phone system and by far the biggest question I get is 'call logging'. I'm wondering what I might already have available on this system that could provide any call logging. Ideally we'd love to see a call log/chart that could be for a specific DN, information would include: Call Volume, Calls Taken, Calls Placed, etc. For all I know the solution I'm looking for might be third party. Again any information would be helpful.

Thanks!

You can set up the system to output raw format to a serial application or terminal application but I would suggest you look at something like Tims Professional or Tims Plus, or Oak application. I have always used Tims Professional or Plus but I am not saying they are the best around but certainly do the job in the UK. Not sure if they are available worldwide but I think you will find the features what you are looking for.

If you have a relationship with your Avaya Vendor, you might tell them you are interested in CDR packages, and they can recommend several solutions.
