ok, I'm stumped....
CS1000E system running CPMGS card for Co-Res SS/CS/EM
System went down, hard drive failure, and replaced the hard drive.
Loaded Linux OS
Loaded Patches
Loaded SS/CS/EM
appstart restart
Loaded final SP for Linux
All appropriate reboots completed.
When I try to register with the System Manager/UCM I get all the way through and get:
System Error
A system error has occurred. The most common reason is that another user has deleted the selected object.
Refer to the log for detailed information.

I have looked at the logs and can't find anything. I thoght maybe a DNS issue, so I entered a host entry for the UCM even though they do DNS resolution.
So I rebuilt the system thinking something glithced out, but nothing. I then removed all exisitng information from UCM to make sure there was no conflict, but no go. Then I even rebuilt and then changed the IP address and host names so maybe, just maybe the UCM would see as a new system.
Two way communication is working because, if I put in a bad password for the admin user, it comes back and stated that password is incorrect. Has anyone seen this before....
