Hi all,

Please provide some advices how to use the Crystal Web Component Server (CWCS) in order to deploy reports on an
Intranet so that users can view them in their browsers ?

Hi paulmtl,
I am not sure if I am using CWCS, but here is what I did.
You have to load Crystal Reports onto the same machine where your website is. You have to set up a virtual directory (based on your version of crystal) that points to where your crystal reports are located. Business Objects website gives lots of examples of how to call your crystal reports from an ASP page. If you test with one of their examples, you should be on your way.

To view the report in the browser requires a plugin. If the user doesn't have this plugin, he will be prompted to download it. If the user clicks on YES, the plugin is automatically downloaded.

I hope this helps.
