Good morning,
I have an application that contains multiple Crystal Reports that are displayed via the Crystal Viewer.
The majority of the reports run & print properly, however, in the past month, some of the reports don't want to print.
Here are the steps:
1 - Open third-party software
2 - Select/run report
3 - Report takes it's time to run (normal problem w/ our DB)
4 - Click the print button, and nothing happens...for 11 min (I timed it this morning). After 11 min, the Print dialog menu pops up and allows me to print the report.
4b - If I click the print button more than 1 time (trying to get it to move faster, as a user would), I get the following: "Error 70 - Permission Denied".
The permission message had me looking into the software user rights, but the same user has been running this report for months, and their status hasn't changed.
I've also tried to run the report as admin, and get the same results.
I did some research on the web regarding the error message, but everything I ran across was based on VB6 coding, not in the middle of an application (this may be a VB6 app, but don't know for sure).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark
