Hello,

Simple question, probably a simple answer! How can you tell which version of crystal you have i.e. Developers, Professional etc?

Thanks

Check out "About Crystal Reports" in the Help menu.

Thanks Naith,

But it doesn't say if its Developers etc. It gives a product number and a CRW32 number, as well as copyright stuff, but nothing else.

The product type is the first bit of text on the window; right above what you're recognising as the product version number. Like:

CR Developer; Product Type: Full

Product Version: 8.5.2.663

In an ideal world, you should also be able to get the software type from the header of your Report Definition exports too, but for some reason, they say CR Professional even if you export from Developer.
