Can the stored procedure reference that a Crystal report
is connected to be changed from an ASP page. I have several Crystal Reports that have the exact same layout, but use different stored procedures. I believe you can pass the parms to the procedure or chg the select, by how about the name of the stored procedure that the report is tied to.
Thanks

You can do it Crystal, the same way that you would set any database location.
If the stored procedures use the same data structure, I have found it simpler (from a maintainance point of view) to do it all within the stored procedure. IE create a stored procedure that then calls another stored procedure, depending on what report is being run. The report being run is passed to the sp as a additional parameter, so that the main sp knows what secondary sp to call.
This works with SQL Server - I think Oracle doesn't like it when you try to call another sp from a sp. Malcolm
