I have two workstations with crystal reports 9 and a crystal enterprise server 10 on the other side.

I want a solution where i have the repository for bitmaps, formulas on the ce server.

Normaly when a crystal reports is installed it creates a local access database for the repository.

what shoul i do if i want the repository completly on the ce server?. I have to create a local odbc connection to have acess to the repository on the ce server with crystal reports?

The problem I see is that in version 9, the repository was part of Crystal Reports. In version 10, the repsoitory now part of Crystal Enterprise. I am not sure that you can just point the DSN to the CE database and connect to the repository.

Is there a reason why you are still using Crystal Reports 9 since you are using Crystal Enterprise 10? If you really need this functionality, I would consider upgrading to CR 10.
