Crystal reports Vs SQL Reporting services

Hi,
Anyone knows the difference b/w the two crystal reports and sql reporting services for web based reporting ?

I am asking because the crystal reports are quiet expensive whereas the sql reporrting services are free

Most agree that Reporting Services is not quite ready for prime time (I was in BETA), however the pricing model is very attractive, and if your reporting needs are modest, it does the trick nicely.

Give MS a few years and they'll probably be a serious contender. I'd never bet against them making a product marketable.
