Hi everyone,

Did not know where to ask this question. I'm looking for a crystal reports viewer that can refresh parameter fields. I wrote a report in CR the accesses a database. Someone else in the company should use the report, but without the development environment. I have found some viewers, but they only display the report static.

Thanks for any advice.

Cheers, FatEric

Actually the only viewer I have even seem that reports static data only is the one Crystal themselves put out.

Ken Hamady has a list of viewers here:
Visual CUT is my favorite.

Software Sales, Training, Implementation and Support for Macola, eSynergy, and Crystal Reports

"What version of URGENT!!! are you using?

I'm the developer of Visual CUT and I think it would be an overkill for this scenario where all you need is on-demand (rather than automated/scheduled) viewing of Crystal reports.

My DataLink Viewer or any of the other 3rd-party viewers listed at would be a cheaper and more appropriate solution.

- Ido

view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Hi guys,

The programma is for a limited time use only. We need the info from a database to fill up a file (handmade). So Visual Cut would be an overkill indeed. But I have found one on the list that does the trick ("SaberLogic Logicity").

Thanks for the replies

Cheers, FatEric
