Crystal Reports Print Engine issue

I have just upgraded Crystal reports from version 6 to version 8.5 and since the upgrade the amount of memory being used by crystal when displaying the reports has increased quite substatially. I have managed to narrow down the majority of this being due to the new crystal report engine (crpe32.dll). Does anyone know if there is a known issue of version 8.5 of crpe using huge amounts of memory?
