For the past week, I have been stumped on why one of our clients couldn't view reports. They would get the Crystal viewer, but no report. Well, I logged into our ASP application from their machine and the reports came up. Whenever my client logs on the machine, no report displays. We didn't program our ASP application to only display a report for some people. I pretty much ruled out browser settings (ActiveX), crviewer.dll registering, or anything from the client machine's perspective. What else could cause this problem?

Why did you rule out Active-X?

Their browser settings may not allow them to run it.

Have them run the app from your machine, if it fails then you know that it's user setting based.

But the browser settings wouldn't change simply because I logged into our application on her machine. That is a great ideal to have her log on my machine to see what happens.

Ahhh, I wasn't sure if you were logging in to the system or your app.

I guess I would be suspicious of user rights on the databaseif thats getting passed thru.
