Hi,

Can anyone suggest methods of effort estimation for crystal reports designing?

Is there a method of classifying a report's complexity?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
RRGKANTH.

Crystal will do a lot of complex things automatically, saving work that would have been expended with a regular report written using a programming language.

It also stops you doing things that would seem quite simple, because it is a reporting tool that works with a fixed cycle that you are not allowed to change.

So no, I don't think you can easily predict in advance. Better to figure out how complex the task is, and then see if it goes easily in Crystal.
