Crystal Reports 8 Error message "Insert Crystal reports CD"

I setup a windows 2000 machine with IIS. Now this is weird when i try to install Crystal reports 8 during the installation i get an error window popup telling me to insert the Crystal reports CD. Little does the pc know that the cd is already in. The install wouldnt start if the cd wasnt in. This is the original cd. The only way around this is that i have to copy the entire cd to a folder on my harddrive. So that would eliminate the issue of a bad cd.

Has anyone experienced this issue before.
