Crystal Reports 8 Distribution Expert

Hello,

I use the report distribution for various reports I've developed. I save, compile, and run the wizard to make an executable report. I have a report with an ODBC connect to a DB2 database. I'll save the executable on our server, and create a shortcut on a user's desktop. It will work for several days and then the user calls me, stating that when she clicks on her shortcut, nothing happens. If I re-compile the report, it will work again for a few days for her and then stop (the shortcut works ok on my computer, however).
Is there anything I'm not doing correctly here?

I would check the Task Manager to see if this EXE is hanging in the background.

Does a reboot cure the problem on the user's PC?

The only other thought is that perhaps the data structure has changed and the previous version of the report fails due to the need to do Verify Database.
