Crystal Reports 8.5 Record Export Limitation

It appears that I can only export 65,535 records out of Crystal when I choose to export in Excel format. Is this a limitation of Crystal 8.5 or of Excel ?

Excel, nothing to be done about it.

A way around it is to export to another format, such as comma delimited and Excel will open it without a hitch.

I tried exporting into .CSV format, but that's causing the field names to be exporting as part of the data.

Excel has a limitation on the number of rows that it will open. That limitation is 65,536. You will have to export to a text file or even Excel file and then either open it in Notpad or import it into Microsoft Access. If you export to Excel when you go to import it into Access it will ask you if you want to use the first row as column headings.
