Hi,
I am using a Crystal Report Generator to create a spreadsheet from Foxpro Database ( *.dbf ). The database file has worked before for the past 8 months now. It gets updated daily and the program that uses it does not complain about the database and it works fine. Now when I start thereport generator and do a new standard listing, I insert the database, I get the following message :
Corrupt Header ( in one window )
"pddbtrv.dll" cannot be loaded ( in the second window )

Anyone has any ideas. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you.

have a look on your machine for p2bbtrv.dll..If this is not there then I think you found the cuplrit...

Cheers,

Got Crystal Ease?

I don't think that is the correct database driver for Xbase files. I think that is the Btrieve driver. Have you installed or upgraded anything recently on this PC?

What version of CR are you using?

OS is win98, Crystal reports is 5 and I have tried with ver 8.5 as well and I get the same thing. I have no clue. Any suggestions will help Thanks

How did you select the connectivity? As Ken mentions, and SurfingGecko alludes to, the DLL you referenced isn't a valid name. If you meant pdbbtrv.dll, that is a Paradox driver, not Foxpro.

Try setting up a new ODBC connection to the DBF, as in:

Data Explorer->ODBC->System DSN->Add->Microsoft Foxpro (VFP)->Free Table Directory (assumed)->Browse and point to the file.
