Hi,
I have installed Enterprise on my newly reformatted server. Crystal is the
only thing asides from Windows, Legato (tape backup) and network assoc. AV.
This server is running IIS5.
When I first installed Enterprise, I was able to open the launchpad. Well
the wind shifted and I can no longer open launchpad successfully (error -
cannot find server or DNS server - does the same thing when I use IP). I can
open explorer and find the default.htm document and manually open it, but I
cannot browse past that.because the path is looking at the virtual
directory. In explorer, I have the permissions set for the seagate folder
to everyone full control as well as I added the IUSR with full control. I
think that I did this on the virtual folder too. It sure looks that way.
I also have another oddity that when I run crystal locally on the server's
IE6, I launch guest.csp and I get a login for the APS with an error that the
key has not been added or I have too many users (which I know is wrong) I
put in my APS user and everything is fine. The same happens when I run it on
a workstation with the exception that my report gpf's when it opens and
tries to load the paramaters (I have it set on the user enters dates). The report runs fine in the server IE
So any thoughts on how I screwed this up?
TIA for any help
