Crystal Automation server problem on HTTPS

Hi all;
I have a report that runs fine with Automation server on http:// .

However, when I try to call it from test site on https: the smartViewerActiveX comes up grey with out report.

Does' any any one know how to get around this we are useing this?
WE use this because the parameters and password are hiddend and need to get this working on https.

Where useing Cystal report version 8.

Any help would be apprecated.
