Crystal 8.5 SubReports adding a page before each section

I read a previous thread that seemed like the same problem thread149-333185 but suppressing if blank on the footers did not cure my problem.

I have 2 subreports I've placed in the Group Footers and I've even tried them in the Page Footers and no matter what I do it advances the page before printing each footer. Of course I don't want it too as it's wasting paper.

Suggestions? thanks!

If the Keep Togethers are turned off for all sections, in the main report groups, and in the subreports, and if you right click the groups and select change group, make sure that under options the keep together is turned off, as well as the Insert Pages everywhere are turned off.

I went through and did all you suggested, on the every section in the main report and every section in the sub-reports... still no success.

BTW, this is verson 8.5 of Crystal.

If you haven't done this, go to format subreport->common tab and uncheck "Keep object together".

Thanks LB. I actually had everything unchecked already but based on your suggestion I reviewed it all again. I was clean on that... so I'm still looking for a solution if anyone can help.
