Hi,
I have a simple crosstab report that I'm trying to export into Excel format in a scheduled job from Crystal Enterprise 8.5.
The problem below doesn't appear if I use Crystal Reports 8.5 but does occur from the Enterprise output.
Basically when the output is loaded in Excel there are a couple of blank rows appearing at irregular stages in the report. This in turn causes the four row names to be duplicated when the listing restarts after the couple of blank lines.
It looks like Crystal is deciding there is a page break and restarting the crostab row titles after leaving 2 blank rows. This is irrating because my users get confused.
I've tried setting the report up with no printer, with a very wide page and adjusting the following:
Removing cell margins in the crosstab to reduce size used.
Suppressing duplicate row names
Reducing font size to 6pt.
This has all reduced the number of page breaks to 2 but it's still irratiating. I know that I can replicate the output easily enough without using a crosstab but it would be nice to fix this without having to re-write the report.
Any ideas?
