CrossTab Query

I am extremely new to CrossTabs and even after searching and trial/errors, I am having trouble getting what I need. To start, I have a table "MADKPI" that has the fields [Group] / [MonthID] / [MAD]. What I need to do is make a query that will list out all the groups in the rows and across the columns should be the months listed out with the appropriate MAD in each intersection: know the formatting may seem off in the post, but hope this give the general idea.
May June July
Group1 55.2 23.1 20
Group2 25 75

The blanks are already there for each month w/o data just need to reformat.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

What is MonthID? Is it the month name or a number or what?

Which months do you expect to display? Current year, last 3 months, next 3 months, user set months?

What if there are no records for a month? Do you still want to display the month column with nulls?
