Crosstab query that references a form value? 1

Hi,
I made a cross tab query based on a regular query that references a form value. When I try to execute the cross tab query, it gives me this error message:

"The Microsoft Jet database engine does not recognize 'Forms![Show Reports]!cboStartYear' as a valid field name or expression."

Is there a way around this?

Common issue with Crosstab queries. You must set the parameter data types. Select Query|Parameters and enter:
[red] Forms![Show Reports]!cboStartYear Integer[/red]

I set the parameter data type and I get this error:

Invalid bracketing of name '[Forms![Show Reports]!cboStartYear]'.

????

I have seen this "bug" before. Switch to the SQL view and correct the bracketing:
[Forms]![Show Reports]![cboStartYear]
