Crosstab Qry Issue

I have a crosstab qry that I utilize in a report that shows a disease category, the current month sales and the previous month sales. When I utilize the qry and bring it into an access report I try to use a subtraction calculation to show change. However, if I have sales in the current month, with no sales in the previous month, the subtraction equation doesn't compute;

Category Current Previous Var.
HIV $10.00 $5.00 $5.00
Hep C $12.00
IVIG $15.00 $10.00 $5.00
