Hi,

I'm trying to create a query to run a summary report of all machines using selected criteria off of a sub-form; and I am encountering quite a few problems.

A- Values displayed under machines are some strange derivative of the number I entered in the price table. What do I need to set the aggregate function on query to so price will be displayed accordingly?

B- How do I get this to filter based off of the combox "PersoType" and "Series#" selected on main page.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. If database sample needed I will email.

Thanks Again

Jd

All parameters involved in a crosstab query (including values from a form and parameters in an underlying query) need to be added to the parameters list for the crosstab query. The parameters list is accessible from the query menu when the query is in design view.

If you are not doing anything with the price value, use Min() or Max() to simply display it.

I'm sorry but how would I go about setting the parameters list..I'm very new to Access.

Thanks Again,

Jd

Open the crosstab query in design mode. Under the "Query" menu on the toolbar, select "Parameters".

Add the parameters like this:
Code:
  [Forms]![formName].[controlName] Text
  [Enter other variable] Text
  [Enter a number] Integer
