Hello, There seems to be a intermittent problem with my cdrom. I popped in a pirated game in my cdrom, and All I hear is "click.....Click.......Click, and then cd ejects. Now, Immediaetly after, when I pop in a real cd, such as diablo2, the cd ejects after the same noises, and all my cds dont work. Please, Can anyone tell me whats going on?

Creative 52x Cdrom screwed up

as Comtutor said, suspect the tray mechanicals.
Creative seems to favor overly-complicated tray mechanisms. I have had several to repair. the drawer will go in, but not finish the load process, the click is the gear slipping.
get you receipt , take it back.
(ps if it is an older player - it may not be capable of reading cdr's)
