Creative 5.1 Live problems with SP2

Has anyone had any issues with sound glitches on this setup.
I have literally changed everthing (apart from the motherboard) clean installed XP SP2 several times but I'm still getting a random glitch paying music and video.

Jetway V600DAP (with Athlon XP2.2) Via KT600 chipset
Two differant Creative 5.1 live cards (numerous drivers)

Yes disabled onboard sound.
