Creating Timer in Web Service ASP .Net VB

Hey all,

I project that I will need to have Timers setup to post and remove content automatically with out any user intervention other then providing the new content piror or even days before post date.

So I am trying to figure out how to create a Web Service because i am not going to be able to install a Windows Service to accomplish this. I have never deelt with a Web service and would like some input on where to start.

Basically just need a timer to run like 12 hours and check the current date and then process job from a database accordingly.

Any help is greatly aprecated.
