I am new to darkbasic I want to for now just create a one square mile drivable map of my hometown with just street signs and a 3d car to travel down and turn on streets with a 3d look. Please help with any suggestions.

you can use some of the map editing tools they have at Darkbasic.com,
B4 they changed the forum i found a very good map editor. i dont know if its still there, but if it isnt then ask for one at the Darkbasic forum at Darkbasic.com

I had a look at DarkBASIC but I found one that I already had and it was in French (I don't know any French).

Then goto and download a upgrade to english and see if it changes the language.
