I have been given the task of creating a VPN between a new site we have currently aquired and our main hub site. From our main site we have a 256 kilostream link to our ISP via a cisco 2500 router. Behind this router we have a Watchgaurd 4500 Firewall which is VPN enabled.

At the remote site I currently have a standard cisco 800 series router which is currently enabled for ISDN2e which is configured to dialup. This is costing us a fortune in call costs. The 800 has an ethernet port, an BRI port, a console port and an in built 4 port hub.

The plan is subscribe to BT for the Business 500 Broadband service. This is an ADSL service with a contention ratio of 50:1 and create a VPN tunnel between this router and our Hub site purchasing an Watchgaurd soho Firewall VPN enabled to prevent unauthorised access. The only thing is I need pointing in the right direction as to how I would configure the cisco 800 series router and whether I would need to purchase any additional interfaces?

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be appreciated.

Cheers
Nichols
