We are creating templates which uses EPS files. These are created using office 98 on a mac. We can open these on a PC using xp - they open and print fine. But our client whom we are creating this for opens the file, the image appears and prints blurry. Can anyone offer any suggestions

Sure. EPS is not (IMHO) the best format to use for graphics. You might be in a Mac shop where postscript formats are a must and the given.

1. They may not have postscript print drivers installed.
2. They may not have postscript-capable printers.

Frankly, I think MS Office hates postscript, only because they're primarily associated with Adobe--a competitor. LOL Anne Troy
