Is there such a thing as a combined Text/Select Form Field? If not, how hard would it be to create? Here's what I'm trying to do:

I populate a select list from a database so the girls up front don't mess up the data with spelling errors, etc. But, if an option doesn't exist, it would be convinient if they could continue typing in the select box and I could input that data into the database for later use.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks,

I've thought about this too. My solution would be to have two radio buttons, "Existing" and "New". The page would default to Existing, and display the select list. If New is checked, the select list will hide, and a text field will appear. From there, the value of the form field would be added to the database for next time...
