Creating a PDF report

I want to read from a database on the web and create a PDF on the fly and display it to a web page. Any way to do this? What package should I be using?

The reason is because I want the report to have page breaks. I want to have a screen where the user chooses several orders, and the web prints them as seperate pages.

I do my pdf generation with activepdf.

they have some pdf components. I have only done a quick glance at them the price is good but weither they work or not is the question.
