created ICA published icon for clients running 7.1 citrix neighborhood.
When users now doubleclick the published icon they get an error "updated version has been detected" and there is no association with the file. Quick fix has been to right click and open with.

any help would be appreciated
thanks
Jared

I am not certain what you have done here.
did you create an ica file or publish an application.

Either way I think that the clients need to be updated to the latest, I think !!!!

Yes but what are your clients running ?

Are they running 7.1 ?

If they are then something is out of synch I would maybe get them to refresh application set.

all client machines have been upgraded to 7.1 and i republished the load balancing ica icon to them...

could the MetaframXP FR2 have an issue with 7.1? is it doc'd somewhere.

I am too thick today, my appologies.

Can you explain what you are doing when you publish a load balanced icon.

Did you create a new published application and then go to the client and press the refresh button and the icon for this new published applciation appeared,
or did you create an ica file that has been copied to the client to run ?

Cheers
Scott

sorry not a published app a published ICA file...so in CMC - Applications - CCMdesktop - create ICA file
then i just copy/paste this to all machines on the server.

this used to work correctly everytime to load balance but now it loses its association. The quickfix is to right click and open with the Citrit ICA engine.

any idea what could cause the miss in the sync of the ica?
