Forgive me but I'm not that literate on excel macros. So here's my problem, I have a personal macro (saved in personal.xls) under one user profile that I want to copy to another user profile or machine. I tried the alt+f8 and tried to copy the macro but I can't get it to copy. Could someone outline the steps for me please. Thanks for the help.

try exporting.
File
export File...
Hope this helps !

No sorry Yogi39 the option to export does not appear when I right click on the personal.xls vbaproject. I think I have to copy the whole vbaproject(personal.xls) as oppose to just the module whish contains the macro but I'm not sure.

well I guess the easiest way would then be to cut and paste into a new module
:(
