Create Button to print rtfs in a folder?

Hi,

Is it possible to have a button on a page that will print RTFs I've created in a folder?

nope, that will be very difficult, i think i have an idea:
1. have a iframe.
2. redirect the iframe to ur RTF when the button is clicked.
3. use parent.Frames.IFRAMENAME.print()...

hmmm, bummer.

I have generated x amount of rtfs and will now need to try and print them all at once. (They are dispatch notes.)

Any other ideas folks?

i suggest u make them into 1 rtf and print it at one go. otherwise i dont see any alternatives...

Just a thought - I haven't worked with it much yet, but if you have Microsoft Word installed on the server (or maybe any other prog that can read .rtf's and that has exposed methods) can you create an instance of it and then cycle through the files printing them?

that would print the file on the server. is that what you want doorbreaker???

I need the files printed locally.

I have decided to create a single rtf and then redirect the user to the newly created rtf in their browser. They will have to click File > Print but its not too clunky.
