hi guys
i am new in sql server but i dont know how to create alerts and display alert please tell

From within Enterprise manager navigate and expand the management tab then expand SQL Sever Agent. Right click on Alerts and from there you can add a new one.

You can also add an alert via SQL by using the procedure sp_add_alert.

Check BOL under the topic Alerts for much more detailed information if required.
