In Programs-MS Office-Templates...there are a number of folders that the office programs templates are stored in. How would I add a folder that Word, for example, would add to it's collection of template folders. ie, in Word, I would like to go File-New-and see a folder called "My Templates" along with the others (Letters, Memos, Legal Pleadings etc).

I know where the Template folders are, it's getting Word to look at the new one that I'm curious about..

Any ideas anyone?

Tools > Options > File Locations tab > select Modify to change mapping to wherever you've got the desired Templates folder stored

Well, from what I can see, it's as expected: Programs - MS Office - Templates. If I change it to say, My FOlder it's not really what I'm after. And also doesn't seem to have any impact on what's available in the "Gallery" in File-New-

It's there in the template folder, but how do I get word to read it and add it to the template gallery?.

Thought I should let you know that I tried adding a Template Subfolder to Office 2003 / Windows 2000 and it worked! Word - New - and there is "My Folder" of templates!

Would like it to work in Word 97 7 2000 using Win 2000 and XP, in that order.

Thanks for your assistance
