I am running Acrserve 2000 on an NT4.0 machine. Up until recently, back-ups and restores were fine. Now when I try to restore the session descriptions are just a bunch or characters (like ASCII or something). It says Session 0001: \\o|@\\\\\\\\\\\ or some such thing, not the actual directory names. Sessions on different tapes have different characters. Can anyone help me with this? .....PLEASE...... Thanks! Cinda

This could be database corruption.

Try deleting the tape from the database and merge it back in.
