CRAXDRT Error Occured on Server.

The activex component loads fine, but as soon as it tries to display the data it gives the following error.

CRAXDRT Error Occured on Server. Error Number: -2147192184 Error Description: Server has not yet been opened.

We have tested the reports in design view and it connects to the server just fine. When we preview the report and parse the parameters through to it, it works 100%. If you could help solve this problem we are having, we will really appreciate it.

What happens when you call this report directly through the URL, //servername/report_virtual_directory/yourreport.rpt?
Do you use ODBC or native connection?

When I call the report directly (

http://.../report.rpt)

it works just fine, but when I call it through an ASP-script (with parameters), it fails with error number 2147192184! I use ODBC-connection.

What do I do wrong??????

Is your ASP code doing something else (setting report parameters, selection formula, etc.), except for just standart code to open the report?
If so, can you simplify your ASP code so it would just open the report without doing anything else? Will it work?
Are you using SetLogOnInfo method to set data source to the report?

I don't push parameters, formulas etc. from the ASP-code. I only try to run the report wothout any parameters.
It works just fine with Access97 database, but with other dbs the code fails, but as mentioned in previous mails in this thread, it works when i just call the report using <A HREF=&quot;report.rpt&quot;>Report</A>.

Since the database doesn't need any username/password, I haven't set any in the ASP-code.
