how do i hack or obtain a free and full crack for word documents password

There are no free password crackers available, but you could pick one up for a few dollars, especially one that looks at Excel, Word, Powerpoint and in some cases, other applications too.

You can demo versions, but they typically on look at the first 1, 2 or 3 characters of your password.

If you are in desperate need to get into a document, let me know, or send me the document with an idea of the length of the password and I'll see what I can do:

I vaguely remember reading about a free one called Wordcrk (or something similar). I've never used it though.

Ahh. I see. If you actually want to break into a document and extract the password that way - there is a file called Wordcrk. Having said that the site that I have seen before (never used it though, as I am dubious about the quality of the products etc) has passwod crackers for a range of products, such as Excel etc.

yes i visited the page and it looks good for cracking passwords, but none link works

Good point. I didn't check the links. If you search for wordcrk in a search engine, you'll find a number of sites that state they have a copy.

I downloaded a version, but it works in Dos mode (which is OK), except as soon as I enter the path for the file it closes the dialogue box.

To be honest, I am not sure about the validity of the these "free" tools, and I'd rather pay a few dollars and feel a little more comfortable in what I am getting.

Each to their own I guess.
