I recently wrote several reports in CR9 using SQL commands. I wrote them on a direct copy of the client DB, so the schema I used is identical.
I sent the reports to my client , who the tried to open on his network and use 'Set Datasource Location'. When the report attempts to establish connection to his datasource, it still shows my connection info in the server conenction dialog window. He then types his connection info (Service, User ID, Password) and it says 'Logon failed'. He is definitely using the right info. I have been working with Crystal Support for a week now and they have been no help at all.
Does anyone know if it is possible to move a report containing SQL commands from one network to another (ie, not sharing a repository)?
Thanks in advance for any help!!
